H&HCrane Service inMontana has been acquired by theU.S. subsidiary of Canada-basedNCSGCrane &
Heavy Haul Corporation.
TomHarant foundedH&HCrane Service inGreat Falls,Montana in 1987. Harant has taken an
ownership interest inNCSG, andwill work to grow the crane and heavy haul services business in the
Great Falls region. “I will continue to run the business andNCSG/H&HCranewill continue to provide our
long-term customerswith fully operated andmaintained crane and lifting services, andwewill enhance
these serviceswith additional equipment fromNCSG’s crane and heavy haul operations,” saidHarant.
“H&H has a proud27-year history of providing fully operated andmaintained crane and lifting solutions
to itsmany customers in theGreat Falls region andwe are thrilled to be partneringwith TomHarant and
the rest of theH&H team going forward,” said TedRedmond, NCSG president.
Montana is experiencing substantial economic growth and is the location of a number of proposedwind
farms, proposed refinery expansions, and home to thewestern portion of theBakken oil shale, NCSG said.
NCSG has 700 employees and a fleet of more than 290 cranes, 235 lines of hydraulic platform trailers,
300 conventional trailers and specialized rigging services such as jack & slide and hydraulic gantries.

Crane Rental Corporation
has opened a new office and
equipment yard on Highway
59 in Loxley, AL just north
of Interstate 10. This is the
company’s fourth location;
other facilities are located in
Davenport, FL and Tampa, FL,
along with the headquarters
in Orlando. Crane Rental
will offer full services from
the location, including heavy
hauling, specialized rigging and
crane rental.

Donning a giant lei for the
occasion, aGroveGMK6300L
all-terrain crane received a
blessing during its handover to
theState of Hawaii Department
of Defense. TheGrove crane is
central toHawaii’s life support
as itwill unload container
ships during emergencies and
natural disasters. The300-ton
capacity crane, which features
an80-meter boom, is based at
HonoluluHarbor, the entry-way
for themajority of Hawaii’s
goods.
