market. Its direct crusher drive allied to
electric drives for the conveyors provides

Pride of place on Terex Finlay’s stand at the show will be
occupiedby its new J-1170primary tracked jaw crusher, with its
key feature being an on-boarddetachable sizing screen.
It can be orderedwith either aTier 3/Stage IIIACat C9 diesel
delivering 261 kW or a Tier 4 Interim/Stage IIIB Scania unit
delivering 257 kW.
Hydrostatic transmission of the jaw chamber offers operators
reversible operation in the event of a blockage. The hydrostatic
system also provides variable chamber speed to suit given
applications.The crusher features hydraulic assist chamber closed
side setting (CSS) adjustment, and can be changed in a matter
ofminutes.
The machine has a heavy duty variable speed vibrating grizzly
feeder (VGF) with integrated pre-screen, providing an aggressive
action to separate fines material efficiently. The variable speed
VGF ensures continuous choke feeding of the crushing chamber
for optimal productivity. Material from the pre-screen can be
diverted to a stockpile via the onboardby-pass conveyor, or join
the crushedproduct on themainbelt.

designed for10 to40 tonnecarriers,were introduced in2009and
fromnow onwill feature branding very similar to the company’s
existingpremier breaker range, swapping their blue colour for the
familiarMontabert green.
Wear-parts manufacturer MTG has specialised in creating
innovations in teeth, adapters, shrouds and locking devices for
earthmovingmachinery.
The Spanish company said its equipment teeth were designed
to maximise penetration, wear and impact resistance. It will be
showing products for awide range ofmachines.
This includes the ProMet system incorporated the MTGtwist
locking solution, which has been developed to prevent accidents
when assembling anddisassembling equipment.
The RDS stand at Intermat will focus on its, Loadex 100
material weighing system, which has been developed to be
retrofitted for tracked andwheeled360° excavators.
With an increasing focus on machine productivity, Loadex
100, which checks equipment bucket loads, has beendesigned to
operatewithin the fast-loading environments.
As thecompanyexplained, loadingcorrectlyfirst timeeradicates
return trips to the stockpile reducing vehicle movement, fuel
usage andmachine tyre andwear.
Crushing& screening
Terex’s Powerscreen business will
launch the Warrior 600 mobile screen
at Intermat. The new addition means
the Warrior range now comprises six
machines,with the600beingdescribed as
themost compact heavy dutymodel.
Powerscreen says it is easy to transport,
and offers a simple conversion between
two-way and three-way screening modes
which canbe completed inminutes.
The unit features a high-strength,
high amplitude, two-bearing screenbox
designed to separate large items fromfines
in recycling tasks. Other features include
fast set-up time, easy operation aided by
hydraulic folding side conveyors, a rigid feed hopper sides and
two speed tracks.
