The 30 tonne HX300L and the 26 tonne HX260L
heavy line excavators will also be making their
UK debut. The new machines are
equipped with Cummins engines
which are compliant with the latest
regulations (Tier4 final andEUStage
IV) for exhaust Nox reduction and
particlematters. Hyundai has opted
for a combined solution of EGR and
SCR technologies, without the need
for an additional DPF. At the same
timea reduction in fuel consumption
of up to 10%hasbeenachieved.

Confined spaces
TheR914 compact, a 15 tonnemachine is designed to
work in extremely confined spaces. Its robust under
carriage, intelligent technology and newly designed
cab - the largest in its class - ensures that it meets

Nexis Fuel Pro from the AMI Group (pictured left)
is an industry leading fuel monitoring and theft
alerting solution that can be installed onto both
powered and non-powered assets reporting to the
AMI Nexis softwareplatform.
It monitors assets that consume and store fuel
whilst actively monitoring fuel consumption. AMI
Nexis Fuel Pro is a powerful analytical solution
that provides important reporting, management
informationandalerts to the client.
AMI said it saves between 30% and 40% of fuel
costs, providing a return on investment within
threemonths of installation. It is claimed to be especially ideal for monitoring remote sites and/or static
tanks that areparticularly vulnerableandwhere the riskof fuel theft is highest.

Doosan Construction Equipment will be showing
new products from the company’s Doosan Heavy,
Bobcat and Doosan Portable Power ranges for the
first time at Plantworx. This will be first appearance
in theUKof thenewDoosan ‘-5’ rangesof crawlerand
wheeled excavators, wheel loaders and articulated
dump trucks (ADTs) meeting the latest Stage IV
emission regulations. Several Bobcat products will
also be shown for the first time, including the new
S450 skid-steer loader, the new E17 to E20 1-2 tonne
compact excavators and new Bobcat telehandlers.
The stand display will be completed by new
generators and compressors from Doosan Portable
Power, includingseveral newStage IIIA, Stage IIIBand
Stage IV compliantmodels.
