Compaction
Bomag returns to Plantworx to show its range
of milling, paving and compaction equipment,
aftermarket support andend-user finance.
Although best known for its range of compaction
equipment Bomag is now a major player in the
market formillingandpavingequipment.
The new 1 metre class BM 1000/35millingmachine
and the new 8 tonne BW 151AD-5 heavyweight
tandem rollerwillmake their first appearances in the
UK at Plantworx, alongside other new and updated
Bomagmodels.
151AD-5and the 10 tonneBW 160ADO-5withoscillating
vibrationwill alsobeondisplay.
Milling and paving exhibits will include the BM
500/15 and BM 1000/35 milling machines, the BF
300 and BF 600 pavers and Bomag milling
drums andpicks.
Giant wheel loaders, produced by Tobroco
Machines of the Netherlands and distributed in
the UK by TRP, are being shown at Plantworx
for the first time.
The
Giant
machinery
range,
including skid-steers, wheel loaders,
telehandlers and attachments, is built
in a modern factory by a team of more
than 130employees.
The company currently builds nearly 2000 loaders
a year across 36 different models, in a range from
20 hp to 76 hp engine power from 750 kg to 5500 kg
operatingweight.
More than 50 attachments make the loader a
multifunctional machine that can be used for many
differentworkactivities.
