much more than a piece of paper. They
have real consequences to our customers
and our customer’s customer – the
shippers and consignees of the freight.
We partner with the specialized carrier
industry to deliver their cargo legal, safe
and on-time.
Permit America is not a call center; our
consultants deliver personalized service.
We are staffed with a dedicated team of
qualified permit consultants who can
resolve the most complicated permit/pilot
car requirements.
I have over 40 years of OD/OW
permit knowledge and experience.
My husband, Jim Simpson, served as
bridge analyst for the Kentucky DOT
Superload movements. Our staff is also
very experienced and knowledgeable,
combining for over 150 years of
knowledge and experience. Permit
America understands the complexities
and challenges of moving specialized
loads, and is ready to assist with your
unique situation.
At Permit America, we will model our
office procedures based on the customer’s
preference. Whether it be a technology
based solution with on-line applications,
mobile apps and fleet management tools;
or simply a telephone call and fax, Permit
America is ready to serve the customer’s
specific need.

handle North America in its entirety.
We’re one-stop shop that directly orders
all U.S. and Canadian permits except for
a few very specific types of permits. Since
we’re based in Quebec, it’s easier for us to
deal with the province’s French-speaking
requirements.
Carriers that base their decisions
strictly on the fee may not realize they
may actually be going through multiple
services, which can cause delays. States
get a lot of blame for slow turnaround,
but sometimes it’s the permitting service
rather than the state that is at fault.
Mollno:
Our experience at WCS Permits
is second to none. We have people in our
offices who have been in the business
since 1976, and we are capable of doing
all permits in-house for any size load,
including the biggest superloads, for
all 50 states, as well as Canada. Most
dual-lane carriers that are members of
SC&RA use us in some way, shape or
form because we really understand how
that equipment works. We are one of the
biggest companies in the business with
over 50 permit writers. And I am one of
the few owners who also knows how to
write permits.
We also offer fully interactive
permitting software that saves carriers
time by saving vehicle spacings and
registration information. At the touch of
a button, customers can retrieve any job
or permit they have done over the past
three years, searchable in all types of way,
including by unit, permit or location.

Keeping track of constant changes in local, state and federal regulations, particularly those
involving over-dimensional/overweight (OD/OW) loads can seem impossible for most carriers.
