Triple debut from
Powerscreen
P
owerscreen used a recent Open Day,
which saw customers and dealers
from 21 countries gather in the UK,
to officially add three new machines to its
range of mobile crushers and screens. These
were the Premiertrak 300 Jaw crusher, the
Trakpactor 320SR and the Warrior 2100
screen.
The new Premiertrak features a new
optional hydrostatic drive system that allows
it to reverse and unblock, or run continually
in reverse for asphalt applications. According
to Powerscreen, it is configured to run at
a low engine rpm to result in good fuel
efficiency and low noise
emissions suitable for
urban usage. The machine
features large clearances
in the bypass chute to
improve material flow
and reduce blockages,
a large under-crusher
clearance, full tunnelling
to reduce blockages from
rebar build-up and a
hydraulically lowering
conveyor to provide access
should blockages occur.
Powerscreen says that rapid set up times
are possible since all folding is carried out
Powerscreen’s new Trakpactor
320SR features a removable
post-screen section
The Warrior 2100 uses the same Triple Shaft
technology first seen on the Warrior 2400
hydraulically and there is
no need to work at height.
The Trakpactor 320SR
mobile impactor is a
medium sized horizontal
unit that has been
redesigned to include
enhancements to offer
what the company says will
be excellent reduction and high consistency
of product shape for quarrying and recycling
applications. It features rapid set up time, a
fuel efficient direct drive and the ability to
produce a throughput of up to 320 tonnes/
hour. It features a quick detach post-screen
section that converts it to a standard
Trakpactor 320 to provide versatility, allowing
it to be used in a variety of applications.
The Warrior 2100 mobile screen includes
Powerscreen’s proven Triple Shaft technology
first used with the Warrior 2400 to provide an
efficient and effective 4.9 x 1.5 m (16 x 5 ft)
screen box while maintaining high levels of
throughput.

Making an impact –
Finlay’s new I-100RS
Terex Finlay has announced the introduction of the I-100RS horizontal impact crusher
with a 0.86 m (2.8 ft) square chamber with a unique belt tensioning system that allows
for rapid adjustment to provide what the company claims is excellent reduction ratios and
high consistency of product shape.
It also features an on-board 2.4 x 1.2 m (7.9 x 4 ft) single deck screen for sizing
and recirculating oversize material back to the crusher. This can be quickly detached for
applications that do not require resizing
or recirculation of materials. All conveyors
fold hydraulically to ensure rapid set-up
times in under 15 minutes and easy
movement when the unit is operated on
multiple sites.
The I-100RS has an advanced
electronic control system that monitors
and controls the speed of the rotor
and regulates the heavy duty vibrating
feeder with an integrated pre-screen
to maintain a constant flow of material
into the chamber for optimal crushing
performance.
Terex Finlay’s new I-100RS direct drive mobile
impact crusher can be used in both recycling and
quarrying applications
