The wear-resistant steel crushing cams
are mounted on the roller shaft in staggered
positions, which the company said were
accurately spaced so that they passed between
the crushing and stripping combs that are
mounted laterally on opposite sides of the
inner housing.
Across the Atlantic, Irock Crushers has
introduced the WJC-2644 wheeled jaw
crusher powered by a 261 kW (350 hp)
Caterpillar C9 diesel with a throughput of
up to 370 tonnes/hour from its 8 m

(283.5
ft

) hopper. It is equipped with a 1.2 x 11 m
(4 x 36 ft) discharge belt and features a fixed
discharge height of 3.4 m (11 ft), allowing it to
be easily teamed to feed most mobile screens.
A hydraulically adjusted chamber allows
operators to adjust crushing size from 50 mm
(2 inch) minimum closed side setting to a
150 mm (6 inch) maximum to allow the unit
produce a similar top size.
Electric power features with Keestrack’s
new Novum Eco Drive+, a tracked mobile
screen in the sub-30 tonne range with a diesel
electric drive. The company said that the
Novum Eco Drive could, like all Keestrack
Eco Drive equipment, be powered by its own
generator and diesel engine, as well as by an
external energy source.
Keestrack also has two new Impact
Crushers – the Destroyer 1011 in the sub-30
tonne range, and its big brother the Destroyer
1313 Eco Drive. The Destroyer 1011, in the
full-option version with pre-screen, dirt
Increased demand
feeds factory growth
Micro crusher specialist Red Rhino is in
the process of constructing a new £1
million (US$1.5 million) purpose built
factory adjacent to its existing facility in
Grantham, UK, that will provide a 50%
increase in capacity, improved production
efficiency, new offices and a dedicated
training and testing centre for new
crushers. The new facility will consist of
1,858 m

September 2013. Red Rhino said that
the new factory is required to meet the
increased demand from waste transfer
stations, municipalities and construction
companies as a result of their focus on business efficiency and becoming greener.
Sales and marketing director Jason Purliant said in a statement: “The growing
demand for the recently developed 7000 Plus to the existing range means that medium
scale crushing on site can be achieved in a very affordable way. Sales of the 7000 Plus
with the grizzly vibrating table have revolutionised the way construction and demolition
companies handle waste on site.”

The Diesel-Electric driven Destroyer
1313 Eco-Drive impact crusher is a further
development of the proven Destroyer 1312,
said Keestrack, and will be available in
three different drive concepts – fully
electric, all drives electric with rotor
drive directly from the diesel engine,
or all drives and rotor drive directly from
the diesel engine.
McCloskey has added the 516RT tracked
trommel to its range. This 22.5 tonne machine
features a heavy duty chassis with four
independent stabiliser jack legs, integrated
hydraulic folding conveyors and a radial
conveyor with 180° swing that provides a 4.1
m (13.5 ft) stockpile height. Power comes
from a Cat C4.4 diesel delivering 74 kW
(100 hp) and the machine features an over-
sized hydraulic tank and hydraulic oil cooler
for maximum cooling capacity and high
efficiency throughout the hydraulic system.
