Among the new products
on XCMG’s standwill be
a giant 36.5 tonne soil
compactor.
m

and the company said it will have
some 44machines on display. Hard to
miss will be the new LW1200Kwheeled
loader, which with a 48 tonne operating
weight and 6.5m
3
bucket is one of the largest
wheeled loadersmade inChina.
XCMG says that it has taken a number of steps to
improve its durability, energy efficiency and environmental
performance.
Alsonew in the company’s earthmovingportfoliowill be the
34.5 tonneXE360N excavator, which is poweredby a liquefied
natural gas (LNG) engine. XCMG says this offers lower
fuel costs and emissions than traditional diesel engines.
Indeed, it claims fuel consumption is at least -30%
lower than with diesel and the cleaner-burning
LNG fuel means virtually no pollutants.
The machine comes with a 1.4 m
3
bucket as
standard andoffers 263 kNof bucket digging force.
New in XCMG’s grader range is the 16.5 tonne
GR215K, which is powered by a Stage IIIACummins
QSB6.7 diesel engine and Dana axles and torque converter.
The overall styling of the grader is new, and XCMG says it
has improved the cab environment, as well as installed a new
control systemwhich is easier for the operator to use.
At the top of the company’s compactor range is the new 36.5
tonne XS363 single drum roller. With a 2.4 m wide drum
vibrating at 26HZ, themachine develops a force of up to 850
kN.
Customer demand
XCMG says it developed the machine in response to customer
demands for a heavy duty compactor for major projects such
as dam construction. It added that its initial tests indicated the
XS363offers someof thebest efficiencyanddeepest compaction
depths on themarket.
In the concrete sector,
XCMG will show two new
products in the shape of the
HB67K
truck-mounted
pump and boom, and
the HBC10020K truck-
mounted line pump.
The HB67K is said to be manoeuvrable and
offer a fast set-up time, and is fitted with a 66
m vertical reach boom and 170 m
3
/hour concrete
pump. The machine will be shown at Bauma China on a five-
axleMercedes Actors chassis, with a gross vehicle weight of 54
tonnes.
The HBC10020K meanwhile, is intended for smaller scale
construction. It can deliver 100m
3
of concrete per hour when
set to lowpressure delivery (11MPa), or if higher pressure
is required for longer pumping distances, it can deliver
55 m
3
/hour at 20 MPa. However, XCMG says that
even at the lower pressure setting, the pump can
deliver concrete to a height of up to 300 m, or
over a distance of 1,200m.
Itwill be at the showon a two-axleSinotruck
chassis, with a gross vehicle weight of 14.8
tonnes.
New from XCMG’s lifting division is the
260 tonne capacity XCG260 crawler crane,
the latest model in the range which was first
introduced in 2011.
The maximum main boom length is 93 m,
andXCMG alsooffers a light boomoptionwhich can go
up to 115.5m.There are two job options available.
Extensive range
Liugong’s stand will feature 18 machines from its wheeled
loader, excavator, compactor, grader, dozer, paver, crane,
backhoe loader and skid steer loader ranges. Perhaps of most
interest will be the new H-series wheeled loaders, which are
availablewithTier 3 engines for the domesticmarket andTier
4 Final units for Europe andNorthAmerica.
These radically redesignedmachines have a re-thought
engine compartment, which is intended to be easy
to access for maintenance. It also has a new cab
concept which improves operator comfort and
safety.TheH-series machines on display will
include 30.4, 17.2 and 50.6 tonnemodels
with 162, 261 and 391 kW engines.
Lonking’s stand will feature more
than 25 products, including forklifts as
well as construction equipment.
From the new construction machines, the
company highlights the CDM856 and CDM835
wheeled loaders, which are fitted with Stage IV/
Tier 4 final emission-compliant engines, with
wet axle brakes and electrical transmission
control as options.
The CDM856 features a closed-circuit type
hydraulic system, which Lonking says delivers
fuel savings.
The cabs feature roll-overprotective structures (ROPS)
and fallingobject protective structures (FOPS), and there is also
suspension seat and air conditioning for themachine operator’s
comfort.
Meanwhile, the CDM6365F excavator is available with Stage
II, Stage IIIAor Stage IV engine. Again the cab features, ROPS,
FOPS, an air suspension seat and air conditioning. There is
an electronic control system designed to help protect against
engine overheating, lowoil pressure andother problems, aswell
as help schedule regularmaintenance.
In the road building sector, Ammann’s stand will feature its
new generation of Uni Batch asphalt plant, which comprises
a series of modular components, allowing facilities from 80
tonnes per hour to 340 tonnes per hour to be built to customer
requirements.
Among the highlights on Lonking’s standwill be the new
CDM865wheeled loader, with a Stage IV engine.
Atlas Copco’s
Boomer XL3 D
features a new
boom design for
greater reach and
coverage.
