Speakingof this year’s showXu Jia, deputy
managingdirector ofMMI Shanghai; said:

countries/regions are expected to showcase
their latest products to almost 200,000
visitors from150 countries/regions. The show

Whilenot the sizeof its parent show
inMunch, which is by far the largest
construction trade show in theworldby
somemargin, baumaChina is nevertheless
establishing itself as amajor event on the
trade show calendar, and is set togrow even
further in the future, as the construction
industry in the region, and therefore the
exhibition is aperfect opportunity to see the
latest designs targeted at this region.
Of course, thedemolition industry aswe
understand it in theWest is yet to take real
shape in the country, withmost demolition
carriedout in a fairly simplemanner –
manuallyormechanicallyusingbulldozers
– so specificdemolition exhibitswill be few
and far between.Nevertheless, themajor
manufacturerswill nodoubt be showcasing
their latest standardmachines, andperhaps
sneak ahigh reachor twoonto their stands to
illustrate their full range capabilities.
