DB-100
Dust Control Technology has been shortlisted for
its DB-100 dust suppression unit, the largest dust
suppression unit ever built by this Peoria, Illinois,
based company. It has been engineered specifically
to provide the power to reachmulti-storey demolition
projects and the working face of openmines or
quarries, and provides aworking range of more than
100m (330 ft). The atomizedmisting unit stands
nearly 2.4m (8 ft) tall and can cover an area of
26,000m
2
(280,000 ft
2
) from a single location
Kiesel/Kocurek
Kiesel Multi Carrier (KMC)
The KMC concept sees German Hitachi dealer
Kiesel shortlisted together with partnering specialist
Kocurek. KMC stands for Kiesel Multi Carrier, which
features the patented TRITEC system (Speed &
Power) and an exclusive BoomQuickConnect to
allow a single carrier tomake use of a range of front
ends produced by Kocurek to provide a contractor
with themaximum flexibility while also tailoring the
overall machine for use in specific applications.
Using Hitachi excavators as the design base, the
full range will consist of four models, the KMC250,
KMC350, KMC470 and KMC870.
MB SpA
MB-C50
Crushing and screening bucket specialist MB has
been shortlisted for itsMB-C50, the smallest crusher
bucket in the company’s product line, weighing less
than 1 tonne and designed towork on excavators
starting from 4 tonnes. It is suitable for mini
excavators and is ideal for small crushing jobs.
Due to its reduced size andweight, theMB-C50 has
proven to be particularly useful in landscaping and
restricted areas. One-of-a-kind and certified, like the
entireMB range, it features a patentedmultiple jaw
movement to ensure the highest productivity on all
sites.
