Powerscreen
Warrior 2100
The PowerscreenWarrior 2100 trackedmobile
screen, shortlisted by the judging panel, was
developed in response tomarket feedback from two
specificmarket segments. First, within the aggregates
industry, Powerscreenwas challenged to develop a
high-energymachine that could screen and separate
sticky, difficult to process raw aggregate, thereby
producing a useful and saleable finished product
fromwhat would previously have been stockpiled
wastematerial. Secondly, with regulations becoming
ever more stringent for recycling companies, an
opportunity was identified to develop amachine
that couldmore effectively screen and separate
construction and demolitionwaste. A key feature
of theWarrior 2100 is its highly aggressive and
versatile screen box powered by a ‘Triple Shaft
Technology’ drive system.
Rockster Recycler
R1 100DE
Rockster has been shortlisted for its R1100DE
parallel hybrid impact crusher that features a
diesel engine that operates at optimal speed to
drive a generator for the electricmotor that in turn
powers the crusher. Permanent-magnet technology
guarantees a decrease of energy consumption,
better engine and generator performance, and
maximum performance density with lower weight
and smaller components. Any load peaks are
cushioned by condensers – so-called power caps –
that buffer the energy. Fuel consumption is reduced
and through the use of virtuallymaintenance-
free electricmotors, maintenance costs are also
minimised.
TerexWashing Systems
Aggrescrub 150
The judges have shortlisted TerexWashing Systems’
Aggrescrub 150 that has been designed to produce
cleaner material at a faster rate specifically in the
recycling industry, and its versatility and
design enables it to be easily adapted
towork in gravel applications. The
unit consists of a trough and two
spiral axles running counter
to one another with interchangeable blades that
intensivelymix the feedmaterial. Friction from this
process breaks down feed contaminates and allows
scrubbedmaterial to be stockpiled. The Aggrescrub
can be combinedwith TWS’s Aggresand to provide
the perfect solution for customers dealingwith
recycling applications as well as pit owners with
high agglomerations of clay.
