Intermat’snewranges
The former Tower Light business has
returned to the pump industry for the first
time in three years with the launch of the DWP6
high volume dry vacuum product.
Generac
Tower Light’s
initial market introduction
covers four- and six-inchmodels, with the
eight, 10 and 12-inch versions to follow.
Yanmar
announced it had entered into
an agreement for Italy’s Venieri to produce
a series of wheeled loaders for the European
market under the Yanmar brand. The first two
models will be the 4.1 tonne V7 and 4.4 tonne
V8 andwill be available
from September
or October.
Manitou
has launched a new lower
weight, compact access platform. TheMan’Go
12 has aworking height of 11.91metres and an
outreach of 6.5metres. It weighs 4.1 tonnes,
while capacity is 230 kgwith up to two people
in the basket. Basket dimensions are 1500mm
x 987mm, whilemachine dimensions are 5504
mm x 1800mm. One of themain features is the
different boom structure; there is one cylinder
for the two-section boom.

powered bowserwasher is one of a “batch” that
is being delivered to Polish rental company
Atut Rental. UK company Brendon showed a
range of its bowserwashers and power washers
at Intermat.
Spanish telehandler, forklift and site dumpermanufacturer
Ausa
said therewere signs of an
improvement in the Spanish construction equipmentmarket, with some small andmedium sized
rental companies starting to invest in their fleets after eight years of recession. “Rental companies
are beginning to buy somemachines”, said Josep Soler, Ausa’s salesmanager for Germany and
Benelux, “because their fleets are pretty old.” The company’s sales in Spain are likely to reach

million this year, up from
9million in 2014, although still a lot less than the peak of
100million
before 2009.
Pioneer Pump
launched a new
range of vortex impeller design pumps. The
company hasmade its name designing enclosed
impeller designmodels. The new Vortex range
– available in 100mm, 150 and 200mm sizes
- will give Pioneer a rangewith solids handling
capabilities for use on projects such as sewer
bypasses, where ‘ragging’ is a common
problemwith non-Vortex designs. Simon
Ruffles, managing director of Pioneer Pump,
told
IRN
that the launch of the newmodels was
a “big step”.
France-based
Paclite Equipment
has entered the lighting towermarket with
a 4 x 1000Wmetal halide,manual winch
model designed for African andMiddle East
markets. A European version, with LED lamps,
will be available soon. The PL4000W uses
European-sourced components including
GEWISS lamps, a Lombardini 10 kW engine,
and aMecc Alte alternator, alongwith hoods
supplied from theUS. Kent Gorsun,managing
director of Paclite, told

that the company
has already shipped around 600 units to the
Middle East andAfrica.
Polish generator
manufacturer
Fogo
launched
its firstmobile sets for the
rental market at Intermat. The
company showed a 100 kWmodel and
will also offer 30, 60, and 80 kWmodels. The
company has around 50 distributors in Europe,
includingmarkets such as the UK, France and
Germany. Many of the dealers will start to
target rental buyers with the new range.
