wirelessly transfer theoutput signals
from theLMI/RCI-8510 systemand
all otherLSI-Robway systems (cable-
basedandwireless) to theEquipment
TrackerDatabase.Alongwith crane
indicator sensordata, theEquipment
TrackerDatabase canmonitor engine/
transmissiondata received froma J1939
input, for example.
Useful formaintaining equipment and
worksite security, theEquipmentTracker
Database can showuserswhen their
machines are lowon fuel or
need servicing, aswell
as if theyhave left their
designatedareawithout
authorization (viaGPS
andgeofencing). Theuser-configurable
databasewill sendmessages via text
or emailwhena crane indicator alarm
is soundingandwith theoccurrence
ofmechanical issues, suchas low tire
pressure and/or enginemalfunction, LSI-
Robway said.
LSI-Robway’sdatabasehas the ability
toproduce reportsbasedon short-term
and long-termdata for anything from
the crane indicator sensors to the crane’s
mechanical performance. This typeof data
logging isnecessarywhena crane accident
occurs, but is alsouseful in everyday
operation tokeepupwithmaintenance
and safety standards.
