LAMPSON INTERNATIONAL, GOLD LOT 1392
,
will showcase the company’s services
and its signature cranes, including the
Lampson Millennium 4100 crawler. This
crane combines the structural integrity
and versatility of the Manitowoc 4100 with
the safety and ease of operation of the new
generation hydraulic operating system
cranes. Single drum line pulls have been
increased by up to 70 percent with two
line size choices. The swing system has
been converted to hydraulic operation and
the original hydraulic boom hoist drive
has been retained. Operating controls
have been modernized with computer-
enhanced electronic joysticks. It can be
used with the Manitowoc Ringer heavy
lift attachment and the Manitowoc Tower
attachment.
Lampson will show the operator’s cab
of the Lampson Millennium 4100 to give
show goers the chance to experience the
reach of 100 feet. The maximum boom
and jib combination is 350 feet.
All Kobelco G-Series models have the
Remote Observation Satellite System,
KCross, which allows remote monitoring
of the unit from the owner’s desktop. Via
an internet connection, an owner can get a
report showing the hours the unit worked,
how much fuel was consumed, how many
minutes the crane idled, how long the
main winch was used, and the like.
Also don’t miss the new G-Series
service training simulator that will be
used to train service personnel, including
dealers and individual crane owners. The
simulators are built to be shipped to the
customer’s yard for onsite schools.
Fendrick said the three drivers of
the crawler crane business are power,
including oil, gas and wind; road/bridge
work; and commercial construction.
“Power is strong especially in
petrochemical, shale and wind,” he said.
“Road/bridge is growing in strength
with large projects across the country.
Lampson International
will show the new
cab of its Lampson
Millennium 4100
crawler.
