PaladinAttachments has launched the
newBradcoQuikPikmulti-purpose grapple
for skid steers inpartnershipwithStarHill
Solutions. Paladin said thenewmulti-
purpose grapple toolwas versatile enough to
managebrush, logs, haybales, rocks andpipe
or culverts, aswell as standardpallet jobs.
TheBradcoQuikPikbaseunit has a
patenteddual hydraulic boom and curved
tines. Theywrap around and against
irregular-shapedobjects and loads for
additional stabilisation allowing for safe
handlingofmaterials. Thebaseunit is
equippedwith a removableLandscape Shoe,
whichprovides aplatform to stabilise loads
against the faceplate.
JCBhas also introduced anew range of
SelectorGrabs, which theUKmanufacturer
saidhadbeendesigned todeliver increased
productivity and versatilitywhen it came
tohandling construction, demolition and
generalwaste.
The range comprises five separate
models, compatiblewith JCB’s 8 to28 tonne
excavators. The selector grabs offer ahigh
clamping force, adjustable rotation speed and
large jawopening.
Offering an alternativewayofmaterial
handling, AtlasCopco introduced the
HydroMagnet.Used for recyclingplants,
scrapyards and thedemolition industry, the
HydroMagnet can separate iron and steel
from concretewastequickly and easily. Atlas
Copcooffers two versions – fixedormobile
with a chain link. Load capacities range from
280kgup to7,500kg.

According to Sandvik, its four newRammer breakers have been developed and designed
to satisfy specific customer requirements and extend the range further, building on the
success and popularity of previousmodels. The four new attachments are the 90 kg (198
lb) 155 for 0.8 to 1.8 tonne carriers and the 850 kg (1,870 lb) 1322 for 9 to 15 tonne
carriers in the company’s Small Breaker range, and the1,080 kg (2,376 lb) 1655 for 12
to 21 tonne carriers and the 1,400 kg (3,080 lb) 2166 for carriers from 16 to 27 tonnes
in theMediumBreaker range.
The 155 is offered with a sealed side-
plate housing construction that allows
mounting using a boltedmounting bracket
or direct Pin-Onmounting to the linkage,
making it ideally suited to rental fleet
operations. Where the 1322 is concerned,
a fully sealed flat-top housing encapsulates
the field-proven Rammer S29 power cell
with CBE operating principle that allows a
wide oil flow range and easy installation. The
Rammer 1322 also comes complete with a
wide tool selection for every application.
The two newmediummodels feature
heavy duty housings, Ramvalve, Ramdata II,
VIDAT tie rods and an in-hammer pressure
control valve. For further operational
flexibility, thesemodelsmay be ordered with
Ramlube II and SBS (Soft Blow Sensor) or
IBP (Idle Blow Protector) as an option.
