Genesis Attachments has introduced the GDR 400
concrete processor to its Demolition Recycler
range that weighs in at 4,989 kg (10,976 lb) and
is designed for use on carriers in the 35 to 50
tonne range. The new processor has a jaw opening
of 1.2m (3.9 ft) and a jaw depth of 1m (3.3 ft) to
make it themost powerful model in the company’s
all-purpose processing attachment range for high
reach and standard demolition, aswell as road
and bridge applications. The new attachment is
availablewith concrete crusher or pulveriser
jaws, each of whichminimise dust, noise and
flying debriswhilemaximising productivity, says
Genesis.
TheBradco Quik Pik base unit has a patented dual
hydraulic boom and curved tines allowing for safe
handling of materials
designed tomake the jobquicker and easier.
ECYHaulmarkhas enjoyed success
withOilQuick, its preferredquick coupler
system, in theUK and Ireland. Its very first
installation, on aKomatsuPC240 forBond
Demolition, wasmade seven years ago. The
coupler has nowbeen reinstalledon anew
KomatsuPC240 that is currentlydemolishing
anold cinema inAbertilly, SouthWales. Bond
Demolition’ sitemanagerDeanWilliams

just completely changed thewaywe tackled
our demolitionprojects. TheOilQuick is
completely transferablewhen you choose to
replacemachines and this original unit on

looked after andmaintained correctly”
Doosanhas introduced anewwedge
lock coupler for usewith the company’s
6- to53-tonne crawler excavators. This new
attachment expands theDoosan coupler
line, which currently includes ahydraulic
quick coupler.
Thewedge lock coupler allows
operators to change excavator attachments
without theneed for additional hydraulics.
Thewedge lock coupler is designed to allow
for theuseofmultiple attachments, such as
Doosan’s lineof heavy-dutydiggingbuckets.
It alsomounts the company’s current
offeringof trenchingbuckets and is capable
of efficiently releasinghigh-capacitybucket
models. Thenew couplerwill alsopairwith
Doosan’s excavator clamp attachments.
