Stability Control (FSC) system, which
automatically limits crane operation when
it senses that pre-set stability
conditions have not been met.
Fascan and its partners
have adapted Fassi cranes to
a variety of truck frames for
use in a variety of industries
including mass transit, utilities,
telecommunications, agriculture
and more.
IOWA MOLD TOOLING (IMT),
NORTH HALL 10652
, will exhibit
a 40 ton-meter capacity
articulating crane, a Dominator
II mechanics truck, a SiteStar
lube truck and a crane-mounted
TireHand tire manipulator. IMT
is a leading manufacturer of field
service vehicles, truck-mounted
cranes and air compressors serving
markets around the world.
JMG CRANES, GOLD LOT 2309
, has reached
an agreement with Fascan International to
import their battery powered cranes. The
range of JMG cranes have a capacity from
4,400 to 132,000 pounds; a proportional
telescopic boom; a walk-front traction;
and full remote control operation.
JEKKO USA, GOLD LOT 1095
, is introducing
several new cranes and attachments to the
North American market, including
the JIB300GR modular grabber,
an attachment specially designed
for the SPX 1040 mini-crane
with a lifting capacity of 300 kilograms
that enables the 1040 to grasp, rotate,
maneuver and secure pipes and poles
from 105 to 330 millimeters; SPX 1275, a
new mini-crane that can lift up to 16,500
pounds and is able to extend from 16 to 58
feet; the SPB 209, a new mini-crane that
can lift up to 2,180 pounds; and finally,
the SPX 312, which can lift up to 2,640
pounds and is able to extend from 7 feet, 3
inches to 24 feet, 11 inches.
MAEDA USA, SILVER LOT 3211
, and parent
company Maeda Seisakusho, will show
models from its range of mini-crawler
cranes with a reach up to 68 feet and
capacity up to 4.2 tons. Limited access and
tight work space lifting are specialties for
these Japanese cranes. Three models from
the MC series will be shown, including
dual power versions. A new optional
auxiliary winch will be introduced with
high rope capacity for work from rooftops
up to 330 feet below the machine. Also
on display will be jib-style searcher hook
boom extensions, fly jibs and a remote
controlled vacuum manipulator for
placing glass, steel plate and smooth stone.
All MC models are shown with radio
remote control. Also on show is the 5.4
ton capacity LC785M-8 telescopic boom
slewing crawler crane with operator cabin.
Maximum tip height is 67 feet and it
boasts near-zero tail swing.
MANITEX INTERNATIONAL, GOLD LOT 2115
,
will show its largest capacity boom truck,
the 70-ton capacity TC700. Manitex will
also roll out the tractor-mounted 3051T
and the soft track mounted 50155GT.
The 30-ton capacity 3051T tractor
mount was launched at ICUEE last
October and has been a “resounding
success,” according to Marketing Director
Randy Robertson.
A collaborative design of Manitex and
Prinoth, the 50155GT soft-track mounted
crane is targeted to power line contractors
Italy-based JMG pick and carry
cranes will be introduced to the
North American market.
Three models from the Maeda
MC mini-crawler crane
series will be shown,
including dual power
versions.
The Manitex M150 cab-down industrial
crane will make its North American debut.
IMT will launch a new
40-ton articulating crane.
